Remuneration: £40,000-£50,000 Neg. + 25% bonus

Benefits: Fully expensed Hybrid Car & Full BenefitsThe role of the Area Sales Manager - Waterproofing and Flat Roofing / EPDM Systems will involve:

• Field sales role selling a distributed range of single ply roofing, waterproofing and reinforced and non-reinforced EPDM systems
• Majority of your time selling into and managing relationships with roofing and builders’ merchants
• Initially responsible for circa 80 roofing and builders’ merchant customers with a view to recruiting approx. 12 more per annum
• Initial revenue responsibility for circa £2m-£4m
• Trading agreements in place with 5 buying groups; IBC, IBNG, H&B, Fortis and NBG
• Monitor and review sales & margin across the region
• Product demonstrations & staff training across the merchant product range

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Waterproofing and Flat Roofing / EPDM Systems with:

• Must have proven field sales experience with roofing or builders’ merchants
• Ideally some knowledge of flat roofing systems; both membrane and liquid applied
• Specific knowledge of single ply roofing, waterproofing and reinforced and non-reinforced EPDM systems id not essential
• Autonomous, but still a team player
• Contacts within roofing merchants may be advantageous
• High level of energy and strong commercial acumen
• Polished, professional, well presented
