We are seeking a motivated and analytical Finance and KPI Reporting Analyst to join our growing finance team. This role will play an important part in providing key financial insights and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to manipulate and analyse large datasets.
Salary: £40,000-£50,000 DOE
Location: Teddington, TW11
Hours: Monday-Friday 8.30am-5.30pm
Key Responsibilities- Financial Reporting and Data Analysis:- Collect, clean, and analyse large volumes of data from various sources, including ERP systems, CRM systems, and other databases.- Prepare and analyse weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs), variance analysis, and management accounts.- Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards to track key business metrics and identify trends.- Work with the Systems team to develop and maintain accurate and timely reporting systems.- Prepare presentations and reports summarizing key findings and recommendations to management.- Business Partnering:- Collaborate closely with business leaders across departments to provide insightful analysis.- Provide financial support and guidance to business units on budgeting, forecasting, and performance improvement initiatives.- Act as a subject matter expert on financial matters within the organization.- Process Improvement:- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting processes.- Automate reporting processes wherever possible using tools such as Excel, VBA, and other data analysis software.- Project Support:- Provide financial support and analysis for special projects, such as mergers and acquisitions, new product launches, and strategic initiatives.Qualifications & Experience- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.- Part-qualified accountant (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) is an additional positive.- Minimum 3/4 years of experience in a financial analysis or reporting role.- Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency in formulas, macros, pivot tables, and data visualization.- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a strong work ethic and the ability to meet deadlines.- Proven ability to improve processes.
